He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Lawrence, Sr. and Kathryn Lawrence (Buck); his grandchildren, Gerald and Christina; and his brother James.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred J. Lawrence (Brecht); his children, Deborah, Vicki, Robert, Michelle, Kelli and Kevin; and his sister Linda. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
