It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joann Rutt of Ephrata, Pennsylvania, born in Goshen, Indiana, who passed away on July 25, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Amos K. Martin and Lydia Martin (Martin); her daughter Virginia M. Zimmerman (Rutt); and her siblings, Lloyd M. Martin, Amanda M. Martin, Amos Martin, Jr. and Gloria M. Martin.
She is survived by: her spouse Elam B. Rutt; her children, Kenneth L. (Marilyn H.), Norma J. (Arnold H. Hahn) of Middleburg, Marlin R. (Jeanette H.), Stanley D. (Ilene B.), Michael L. Rutt of Ephrata, Beth L. (Linford Musser) of Myerstown and Diane R. (Linford Wenger) of Leola; her son-in-law Aaron R. Zimmerman of Lititz; her siblings, Alvin M. (A. Naomi), Elsie M. (Robert E. Martin) of Snover, MI, Mary M. (Elvin L. Shaum) of Leetonia, OH, Lydia M. Zimmerman (Martin) of Middlebury, IN and Gregg M. (Irene); and her siblings-in-law, Carl B. Martin of Goshen, IN and Nila E. Martin (Martin) of Nappanee, IN.. She is also survived by 36 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
