He was predeceased by: his parents, John Willwerth and Jean Willwerth (Glass). He is survived by: his son Dr. Gerald Willwerth; his close friends, Gail Gross of Chambersburg and Jeff (Lori Willwerth) of New Holland; his grandchildren, Dr. Kristen Willwerth (Joshua Steele) of Green Castle, PA, Laura (Blake Dunbar) of Chambersburg, Megan (Joey Roberts) of Green Castle, PA, Brittany Willwerth of Durham, NC and Kyle Willwerth of Manheim; his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Hayden, Olivia Avery and Owen (Kay Vrabel) of Ephrata; and his brothers, John Willwerth (Donna Willwerth) and Jim Willwerth (Margaret Willwerth).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Stradling Funeral Home (201 Church Ave, Ephrata, PA 17522). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
