He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank M. Hurst and Esther K. Hurst (Burkholder); his wife Mary O. Hurst (Martin); his granddaughter Roseanne Hurst; and his siblings, Lizzie, David, John, Noah, Paul, Frank, Emma, Katie, Lydia, Mary, Esther and Alta.
He is survived by: his children, Frank M. (Anna Susan), Esther M. (Myron R. Nolt) of Lititz, Ivan M. Husband (Weaver) of Sarah Jane, John M. (Miriam S.), Earl M. (Eunice B.) and Marlene M. (Randy Z. Shirk) of Denver; and his brother-in-law John K. Martin. He is also survived by 37 grandchildren, 99 great grandchildren.
