She was predeceased by: her husband Paul W. Boyer, Jr.; and her parents, Hans "Ivan" Wilms and Anna Braun Wilms Grunszky. She is survived by: her children, Patricia A. Lefever (William), Kenneth L. Boyer (Robin) and David L. Boyer (Robin); her grandchildren, Tina M. Sweigart (Ray), Paul W. Boyer III (Chirita), Erica L. Reed (Jeremy), Kaitlyn A. Buzzard (Mitchell) and Dwayne Boyer; and her sisters, Nellie Edwards, Helen Showalter (Bill) and Liese Grunszky. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
