He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey B. Zimmerman and Alice H. Zimmerman (Good); his grandson Chad Michael Herman; and his siblings, Janet Frame (Tom), Gene Zimmerman (Faye), Pauline Martin (Larry) and Curvin Zimmerman (Lois).
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane (Groff); his children, Donna (Neal Zimmerman), Deb (Barry Herman), Delbert (Rhonda), Denise Kattau and Dana; and his siblings, Mary Jane Kurtz (Allen), LeRoy Zimmerman (Lillian), Joyce Kulp (Sam), Mahlon Zimmerman (Carol), Richard Zimmerman (Betty), Leonard Zimmerman (Miriam), Henry Zimmerman (Sharon), Margaret Martin (Earl), Sandra Nolt and Linford Zimmerman (Kim). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Petra Church (565 Airport Rd, New Holland, PA 17557). A celebration of life was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
