He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Hoover and Anna Hoover (Zimmerman); and his son-in-law James Nissley. He is survived by: his wife Irene Hoover (Showalter); his children, Mary (Ernie Hurst) of Myerstown, Marty Hoover (Lois), Glenda (Randy Hollinger) of Manheim, Susan Nissley of Elizabethtown and John Hoover (Diana); and his sister Anna Mae Martin. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren.
