He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth King Allem; his parents, Paul Haffner and Anna Haffner (Insinger); his siblings, Paul and Elizabeth Palmer; his children, Ricky Haffner and Judy Gries; and his son-in-law Chuck Harris.
He is survived by: his children, Robert H. Haffner (Shelley) of State College, PA and Nancy Harris (late Chuck) of Reinholds, PA; his grandchildren, Amy Goldstein (Ryan), Andrew Gries, Ryan Haffner (Brenna), Eric Haffner (Ester), Megan Ladd (Tyler), Jeffrey Harris (Laura) and Kathryn Seitz (Zane); and his great grandchildren, Sara Goldstein, Cora, Garrett Haffner, Charlie Ladd and Olivia Harris.
