She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph D. Newcomer and Margareta Maxsein Newcomer; her husband Irvin B. Garber; and her siblings, Margaret Findley (Tina), Dorothy Hetrich, Geraldine Bollinger, Mervin Newcomer, Melvin Newcomer and Ralph Newcomer, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Cynthia (Phil Kauffman) of Ephrata, Janice (John Houp) of Mount Penn and Christine (Kerry Hess) of East Petersburg; her grandchildren, Chad Kauffman of Pittsburgh, Sean Kauffman (Laura) of Stevens, Jennifer Pulini (Chris) of Ambler, Justin Houp (Tara) of Mount Joy, Mandy Hess (Jesse Holden) of Mt. Airy, MD and Kelly Buff (Max) of Chesapeake Beach, MD.; her great grandchildren, Noah, Benjamin, Adam, Kaitlin (Kate), Nolan, Harper, Jett and Jasper; and her sister-in-law Shirlan Newcomer. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
