He is survived by: his father George Sr. Wentzel; his wife Sandra M. Wentzel; his children, Floyd Jr. (Trista), Mindi (Michael Rankin), Richard, Barb, Marg, Bryan and Leroy; and his siblings, Leroy, Rosanna "Beep", Laura "Cooter", Rose "Landy" and Georgietta "Fiffle". He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren.
