He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles King and Naomi King (Armstrong); his granddaughter Felicia L Rupp; and his siblings, Joseph, Paul, Donald King, Gloria "Sis" Boyd and Amy Birnley.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Anne (Enck); his children, Donald G. (Lori) and Deanna (Kevin Rupp) of Akron; his grandchildren, Monica, Derrick, Calvin, Tabitha, Lawrence, Alexis, Lucas Rupp, Alissa Minor, Tanner and Ryan King; and his brother Arthur (Norma King). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
