She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert J. Elston and Ruth Jessie Elston (Borland); and her brother Gilbert Stanley Elston. She is survived by: her husband S. Robert Jackson; her children, Robert Scott (Margaret) and Margaret (Eric Gilbert); her grandchildren, Thomas Jackson (Karina), Madeline Jackson, Kaitlyn (Alex Hampel) and Colleen Gilbert; and her great grandchild Isabel.
