He was predeceased by: his wife Catherine V. Burns. He is survived by: his children, Mary Ann Reska (Robert) of Schuyler, Edward Nitka of New Oxford, PA, Joanne Nitka of Herkimer and Michael Nitka (Tiffany) of Ilion; his grandchildren, Charles Goldstein (Kayla), Christopher Reska (Lisa), Morgan Sheppard (Tyler), Kyle Nitka, Catherine Holt, Robert Holt (Kirsten), Matthew Holt, Ryan Holt, Michael Nitka and Annabelle Nitka; and his great grandchildren, Briella Goldstein, CJ Goldstein, Benjamin Sheppard and Avery Holt.
