She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard J. Kreider and Anna M. Kreider (Witters); her husband Clarence "C. B." Horst; her children-in-law, Linda M. Horst and R. Dale Gehman; and her siblings, Floy Martin, Harold and Wilbur Kreider.

She is survived by: her children, Brenda Zimmerman (Paul), David Horst (Donna), Darlene Gehman, Marvin Horst (Wendy), Nevin Horst (Cheri) and Karen Burkholder (Matt). She is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 49 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers. Memorial contributions in Doris' memory may be made to Blue Ball Community Church, 1005 East Main Street, Blue Ball, PA 17506.
