He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Weist and Clara Weist (Brightbill); and his brother Jay Weist. He is survived by: his wife Nancy L. Weist (Blough); his children, Wendy (Thomas Zemanick) of Elverson and Matthew (Kelly Weist) of Downingtown; his stepsons, Christopher (Michelle Cable) of Denver and Timothy (Mandy Cable) of Akron; his grandchildren, Rachel, Brianna, Jillian, Eve, Taylor, Samuel and Evelyn; and his siblings, Erla Mae (Lew Bowman) and Glenn (Nancy Weist).
