He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy B. Ernst and Hilda Ernst (Forry); and his sister Barbara Diem. He is survived by: his wife Patricia (Hassler); and his children, Kimberly Coble (Shawn), Donald Ernst, Jr. (Teresa), Cindy Pierce (John) and Susie Baringer (Paul). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
