He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Weaver and Lydia Weaver (Fox); his former wife Alda Weaver (Nolt); and his sister Emma Weaver. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Weaver (Sensenig); his children, Eugene (Susan), Nelson (Glenda), Marlene (Dale Zimmerman) of Annville, PA, David Jr. (Marilyn) and Susan (Jason Wenger) of Annville, PA; and his siblings, Harvey (Emma), Mary Weaver of Ephrata, Lloyd (Lena) and Leroy (Edna). He is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
