It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Kent Hokenson of Ephrata, Pennsylvania, born in Bradford, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 21, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence G. Hokenson and Gertrude J. Hokenson (Huntington); his wife Janice Anne Hokenson (Hopkins); and his sisters, Patty Hokenson and Barbara VanDerhoof.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey (Jodi) and Kristine (Duane Metzler) of Ephrata; his grandchildren, Heidi (Craig Carder), Bridget (James Yansick), Hans (Kathryn Hokenson), Courtney Metzler and Ashley (Andrew Habecker); and his siblings, Jill Easton and Murray Hokenson. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
