He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles S. Yeager, Jr. and Ruth Yeager (Focht); his wife Elsie Yeager (Vollenweider); and his daughter CharLee Kline (Yeager). He is survived by: his son Charles S. Yeager IV (Ann); his grandchildren, Laura Yeager of Ephrata, PA, Justin Yeager of Quito, Ecuador, Michelle Gorman (James) of Ephrata, PA and Chivonne Weaver (James) of Denver, PA; and his great grandchildren, Grace, Rose Gorman and CharLee Weaver.

“i am so sorry to hear the news of Charles' death. Although he was a class ahead of me, i have known him since high school days. Memories are strong. Together we played pin-ball at the diner, cruised the Ephrata Farm Show midway, sat on the porch of the newspaper office to watch the the people pass. When the presses had problems, i helped assemble newspapers to try to keep the distribution on time. That was a long time ago, but i have not forgotten our strong friendship.”
