It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Hewitt of Ephrata, Pennsylvania, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 18, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Williams and Margaret Williams (Stringer); and her sisters, Peggy Kochersperger and Joan Kuch. She is survived by: her children, Kevin Hewitt (Donna) of Denver and Carol Jane Doughten (John) of Charleston, SC; her grandchildren, Kevin P. Hewitt, Christine E. Hewitt, Andrew Ritter, Mary Ritter (Clay Dupree), Johnny Doughten, David Doughten and Casey Cizunas (Ricky); and her great grandchildren, Emma Lynn Hewitt and Isabella Sera Hewitt.
