He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank D. Peters and Amy Peters (Foltz); and his siblings, Myron Peters, Phyllis Peters, Patricia Peters and Judith (Ray Redcay).
He is survived by: his wife Rose Marie Peters (Wise); and his children, Richard (Misty Peters), Christopher Peters, Michael (Jennifer Peters), Carol (Carl Lehnard) and Sharon Peters (Teresa Burch). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
