He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Hiester and Peg Hiester Beck (Coldren); his son Jason A. Hiester; and his siblings, Harold, Charles, Harry, Glenn, Paul, Gerald Hiester and Doris Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Anne (Groom); his children, Steven M. Hiester (Jeannine) and Michelle L. Martinez; and his siblings, Donald Hiester and Lucy Becker. He is also survived by five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
