She was predeceased by: her parents, Clara Arnold and Kuhns; her husband Albert H. Messner; and her son A. David Hess. She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Lou Hess (Darryl L. Sensenig) of Mountville and Susan Hess Mentzer of Ephrata. She is also survived by Seven grandchildren;13 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
