With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Amos W. Eberly (Ephrata, Pennsylvania), born in East Earl, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 6, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey B. Eberly and Lydia Eberly (Weaver); his wife Lucy W. Eberly (Martin); and his siblings, Levi Eberly, Vera Martin Zimmerman, Ruth Hurst and Alvin Eberly.
He is survived by: his children, Ruth Ann Zeiset (P. Ervin) of Mohnton, Elvin E. Eberly (Doris J. King) of Plains, MT, Elaine F. Miller (Jerryl) of Reinholds, Debra L. Weinhold (Gerald) of Stevens, John E. Eberly (Janette Newswanger) of Robesonia and Dawn M. Fisher (Aaron) of Prospect, VA; and his siblings, Mahlon Eberly (Ellen) of Stevens, Anna Horning (Paul) of Ephrata, David Eberly (Lorraine) of Ephrata and Elva Martin (Raymond) of New Holland. He is also survived by 36 grandchildren; 51 great grandchildren.
Because of the pandemic a private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family with interment in the Martindale Mennonite Cemetery.
