She was predeceased by: her parents, Mamie Summy and Raymond Summy; her husband J. Henry Hummer; and her siblings, Naomi, Emory, Erma and Raymond.
She is survived by: her daughters, Julia Wettach of Ephrata and Cindia (Jeffrey Rutt) of Ephrata. She is also survived by three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and a nephew.
