He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos S. Shrom and Mary Shrom (Rhoads); his wife Thelma M. Shrom (Mellinger); his son Randolph M. Shrom; and his siblings, Amos R. Shrom and Mary A. Shrom.
He is survived by: his children, Abram R. Shrom, Jr. of Denver, Kathie Ann (Lamar L. Long) of Akron, Debra K. (Ivan M. Zimmerman, Jr.) of Ephrata and Michael J. (Nancy); and his daughter-in-law Noreen Shrom of Mt. Joy. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
