He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Rhoads and Elizabeth Rhoads (Ebersole); his wife Hermine L. Rhoads (Weiss); and his brothers, J. Marlin Rhoads, Daniel Rhoads and Samuel Rhoads.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kathleen Rothermel (Dale) of Pitman and Christine Bean (James) of Hewitt, NJ; his grandchildren, Heather Bixler, David Rothermel (Adrianne), Victoria Bean and Christopher Bean; his great grandchildren, Trevor Bixler, Lila Rothermel, Maggie Rothermel and Morgan Rothermel; his siblings, Anna Shirk, John Rhoads and Melvin Rhoads; and his stepchildren, Thomas Burton (Patricia), John Burton (Sharon) and Robyn Renninger (Randy). He is also survived by five step grandchildren; seven step great grandchildren.
