He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Gipe McElhattan of Enola; his children, Dana Lee Armenta of Key Largo, Todd Ian McElhattan of Pittsburgh and Jaime Lee McElhattan of Carlisle; his granddaughter Harmoni Rose McElhattan of Enola; and his brother Richard Neal McElhattan of Clairton, PA..
