He is survived by: his wife Eleanor W. Sporik McBrayer; his son John Mark McBrayer of Morehead, Kentucky; his stepchildren, Frank Wise of Marysville, Pennsylvania and Beth Ann Wise of Camp Hill, Pennsylvania; his grandchildren, Robert Collins, Mark Anthony McBrayer, Jessica Sholars and Rebecca Charles; his great grandchildren, Caleb, Kylie, Bentley, Cash, Olivia and Waylon; and his siblings, Emil McBrayer of Layton, Utah, Janet Dulin of Bozeman and Naomi Thomas of Winchester, Virginia. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
