He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Rider and Marie Rider (Seitz) of Enola; and his wife Barbara Rider (Bodine). He is survived by: his son Jonathan of Nevada; his sister Gladys Myers (John) of Mechanicsburg; and his sister-in-law Linda Smith. He is also survived by one niece and two nephews.
