She was predeceased by: her parents, Pearl Oatman (Smith) and Charles Oatman; her husband Ronald E. Peters, Sr.; and her sister Nancy Simpson. She is survived by: her children, Ronald E. Peters, Jr. (Kim) and Ronda E. Peters; and her brothers, Charles Oatman and William Oatman (Marlene).
