He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Derick (Walker) and Reese E. Derick. He is survived by: his wife Betty Bechtel Derick; his children, Barry (Delores) and Bonnie Gilbert; and his grandchildren, Mindy, Heather and Jesse. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
