He was predeceased by: his father John E. Potteiger, Sr.; his stepmother Nancy Potteiger; and his sister Laurie Higham. He is survived by: his wife Andrea D. Potteiger (Ross); his sons, James Andrew Potteiger (Shanna Prascik) of Mechanicsburg and Cameron John Potteiger (Joy) of Buckeye, AZ; his siblings, Deb Kinard (Sterling) of Dover, Donald Miller of Mechanicsburg, Edward Potteiger (Angie) of Camp Hill and Jody Potteiger (Andy) of Etters; his grandson Luke Caleb Potteiger of Buckeye, AZ; and his mother Thelma Potteiger (Keller) of Etters. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services (1303 Bridge St, New Cumberland, PA 17070). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
