He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson F. Pirkey and Averil Pirkey (Lamb); and his sister Thelma. He is survived by: his wife Marianna J. (Kell); his sons, Harley Pirkey (Deborah) of Lenhartsville, PA, Allan D. Pirkey (Evelyn) of Middletown, PA, Gregg W. Pirkey of Carlisle, PA and Timothy N. Pirkey of Goldsboro, PA; his brother Donald T. Pirkey (Shirley) of Leola, PA; his grandchild Lindsay Link (Pirkey); and his great grandchildren, Ian and Kenneth Pirkey.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations be made to Hospice of Central PA.
