He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul William Karns and Goldie Arlene Hosler Karns; his brothers, Robert Allen Karns and Ricky Dean Karns; and his nephew Billy Karns.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Zechariah Karns (Monica), Rebecca Lynn Henry (Herbert) and Rachael Anne Karns; his grandchildren, Callie, Liam and Isaac; and his siblings, Joyce Stine (Richard), Ronald Karns (Nancy) and John Karns.
