Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Brenda Schmidt of Enola, Pennsylvania, born in Hershey, Pennsylvania, who passed away at the age of 58, on January 26, 2023. She was predeceased by: her father Boyd Firestone of Palmyra. She is survived by: her mother Nancy Firestone; her siblings, Steve Firestone (Rebecca) and Marcy Koman (Dave); her husband Bob Schmidt; her children, Courtney Andrews and Rob Schmidt Jr.; her pet Moe; her niece Jessica Hubacher (Brian); her nephews, Andrew Koman (Kelly) and Scott Koman (Brooke); and also Greg Andrews. She is also survived by friends, co-workers, and former husband.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Musella Foundation for Brain Tumor Research. 1100 Peninsula Blvd, Hewlett, NY 11557.

“I worked with Brenda at the high school for 10 years. A lot of students really enjoyed having her as a counselor. She touched many hearts through the years. Her memory will live on through others. A former Special Education student, whom I have kept in contact with, was saddened of the news. "Mrs. Schmidt was my favorite counselor. She was always there for me. She comforted me when I was upset and always told me to hold my head up. And talked me out of doing bad stuff." Sally F. and Amy L.”
