It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Valerie L. Ostrum (Emporium, Pennsylvania), born in Saint Marys, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 13, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Snyder and Norma Carlson Stebich; and her brothers, David and Brian Snyder. She is survived by: her close friend LaVern Carlson of Austin; her daughter Missy Whitcomb (John); her stepdaughters, Beth Carlson of Emporium and Crystal Earle of Emporium; her grandchildren, Natasha, Lacey and Jason; and her great grandchild Adalee. She is also survived by eight step grandchildren.
