He was predeceased by: his parents, John G. Hastings and Rachel Brown Hastings; his grandson Eric Hastings; and his brother John G. Hastings, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Diana M. Groome (David) and Stanley G. Hastings, Jr. (Dorothy) of Emporium; his grandchildren, Brandon M. Alloe, Kaleena Tabicas (Virgil) of Fall River, MA, Brian G. Hastings (Ashley) and Stephanie Margo (Andy); his great grandchildren, Virgil Tabicas, III, AJ and Isaac Margo; and his siblings, William Hastings (Cindy), Richard Hastings (Linda), Marjorie Freeman (Jack) of Wellsboro and Margaret Hastings of Wellsboro. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church (1284 Sizerville Rd, Emporium, PA 15834).
Burial will be in the West Branch Cemetery, Wellsboro, PA, Memorial Contributions may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
