He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Long and Ethel Long (Drabic); his stepson David Beimel; and his brothers, Robert and Richard Long.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Long (McKimm); his son Ronald Long Jr. (Karen) of Douglassville, PA; his stepchildren, Donald Beimel (Gina) and Janine Mathesz (Rick) of Allentown, PA; his grandchildren, Katelyn Plessinger (Jonathon), Megan Bailey (Jacob), Allison Beimel, Justin Beimel, Mike Beimel (Maria), Lurena Lewis and Ricky Mathesz; and his sisters-in-law, Florence Graytok and Janet Cora Mellan (Frank). He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
