He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter W. Blauvelt and Lena L. Chastain Blauvelt; his wife Edith Irene Boehler; his son Ronald Blauvelt; and his brothers, Lewis and Paul Blauvelt.
He is survived by: his daughter Teresa Genaux (John); his daughter-in-law Sandra Blauvelt Korn; his grandchildren, Robin Kuleck, Alan Quimby, Tony and Ronald Blauvelt; his stepgranddaughters, Kathleen, Karen, Jani and Judy; his stepgreat-granddaughter Keira Lewis; and his sister Frieda Baker of Murfreesboro, TN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
