It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Jay Edel (Emporium, Pennsylvania), born in Bradford, Pennsylvania, who passed away at the age of 79, on September 15, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clement Paul "Bud" and Ethel Story Edel; and his brothers, Lamont, Frederick and Richard Edel.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lea; his children, Leander Edel (Pency), Kimberlea Whiting and Stephanie Malizia (John); his grandchildren, Breanna Whiting, Jared Whiting, Maryclaire Malizia and John Malizia, III; and his sisters, Kay Bessenhoffer and Jackie Savacool (Richard). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation with Video Tribute will be at the Barnett Funeral Home on Monday from 5-7 PM. (Covid-19 guidelines should be followed).
