He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward J. Pieczynski and Cora Curry Pieczynski. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Reickerd; his children, Renee Newton of Emporium, Tara Newton (Ben) of Emporium and Ed Pieczynski (Becky); his grandchildren, Derek (Meredith), Lindsey, Larissa, Emilie, Lexi, Maxx, Brenna, Kaylie and Jacob; his great grandchild Lucy Newton; his siblings, Gertrude Maygar of Buffalo, NY, Debbie Pieczynski of Angola, NY, Joyce Thomas (Rob), Stanley Pieczynski (Joyce) of Georgia, Michael Pieczynski of Georgia, Kenneth Pieczynski of Buffalo, NY and Timothy Kron (Debbie) of Angola, NY; and his close friend Wilbur "Sonny" Gummo (Marcie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mark Catholic Church (235 E 4th St, Emporium, PA 15834).
