He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Kern and Louise Stutzenberger Kern. He is survived by: his wife Joanne M. Kern; his children, Ronald J. (Michele) of Woodstock, Georgia, Thomas D and Karen (Timothy Wilson) of Hershey; his grandchildren, Lauren, Justin, Taylor, Jacob, Corinne, Joseph, Katelyn and Sophia; his siblings, James (Betty) of Whitehall and Linda Kremposky of Florida; and his sister-in-law Eleanore Cosmos of Emmaus.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of Ronald E. Kern to St. Ann's School in Emmaus.
