He was predeceased by: his stepbrother Derek Smith; and his grandparents, Allen Acker, Warren Koch and Alice Barlow. He is survived by: his parents, Scott A. Acker (Susan) and Carolyn A. (Larry Bunting); his son Derek N. Acker; his sister Melissa Vaka; his stepsister Karen Bailey; and his grandparents, Glenwood Barlow and Elda Acker. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, niece, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home to benefit his son, Derek.
