He was predeceased by: his wife Mildred M. Shelly; his parents, Russell Shelly and Cecilia Shelly (Heist); and his brother Ray. He is survived by: his children, Donna A. Platz (Duane), Donald G. Shelly (Mary) and David P. Shelly (Lisa); his grandchildren, Sarah, Shannon Shelly, Nicole Steirer (Chris) and Christopher Shelly (Gisselle); and his great grandchildren, Noah, Ava Steirer and Lincoln Shelly.
