He was predeceased by: his siblings, Opal Steffy and Raymond Orton. He is survived by: his wife Lois Fry Orton; his children, Pam Wenner (Derwin) of Emlenton, Tracy Irwin (Dewey) of Emlenton and Tim Orton (Anita) of Emlenton; his grandchildren, Chase, Dolan, Denton Wenner, Dalena Custer, Brody, Brooke Irwin, Levi Orton, Natasha Richar (Catlin Adams), Joshua Richar and Nathan Richar; his great grandchildren, Arianna Adams and Jaxon Adams; his sister Dorothy Hansotte of Butler; and his sister-in-law Romona Orton of Parker.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations in Sam's honor be made either to the Butler Memorial Hospital Cardiovascular Center as a special thank you to Dr. Phillip Painley for all of his care, or to the Emlenton Area Ambulance Service.
