We bid farewell to Marcie Douglass of Emlenton, Pennsylvania, born in Butler, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 26, 2024 at the age of 60. Marcie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, David E. Horner and Wanda Lee Daubenspeck Horner; and her sister Leanne Horner Snyder. She is survived by: her husband Scott Douglass; her brother Jesse Horner (Jeannie) of Butler; her siblings-in-law, Gwen Hickman (Mike) of Kittaning and Glenn Douglass (Karen); her nieces and nephews, Tawnia Snyder, Jason Snyder (Jen), Ben Horner, Sarah Horner, Amber Carter (Joel) and Leanna Douglass; and her grandson Brennen Snyder (Jen) of Jason.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the H. Jack Buzard Funeral Homes, Inc. (201 S Washington St, Eau Claire, PA 16030). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her memory to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
