He was predeceased by: his father Eugene E. Smith. He is survived by: his mother Shirley L. Dittman Smith of Cranberry; his wife Pam Karnes Smith; his children, Nicholas Smith (Mindy) of Emlenton, Shane Smith (Tasha Simmons) of Knox and Malinda Myers (Chris) of Emlenton; his grandchildren, Hayden, Lillian Smith and Abigail Myers; his siblings, Eugene Smith (Althea) of Venus and Barbara McFadden (Mike Kase) of Cranberry; his nieces and nephews, Alicia McMillen (Jason), Michelle Reeves (Rick), Eric McFadden (Trisha), Jeb Karnes (Tonya) and Teri Karnes (Chris); and his aunts, Donna Sheely and Patricia Smith.
