He was predeceased by: his parents, Cassius Furman and Josephine Cummings Whitehill; his wife Margaret "Peggy" Bower of Oil City; and his brother Cassius Whitehill. He is survived by: his daughters, Amy Whitehill of Emlenton, Ann Whitehill Collentro (Scott) of Groton, MA and Jane Whitehill Russell (Dan) of Herndon, VA; his grandchildren, John Collentro, Andy Collentro (Jaclyn), Kate Collentro, David Russell (Jessica), Joey Russell and Maggie Rankin (Chris); his great grandchildren, Henley, Cassius Russell and Amy Jane Rankin; and his sister Enid Spryn of Butler. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
