He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Stephens and Lillian Stevenson Stephens; and his siblings, Charlotte Minich, Twila Richey, Robert "Bob" Stephens, Pearl Thoma, Velma Venisky and Bernice Fox.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn "Sue" Mullen Stephens; his stepsons, Brian K. Nosker (Donna) of Volant and John R. Nosker (Pilar) of Hanover Park, IL; and his great grandchild Lisa Raymond. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
